The Conference aims at introducing 50 students from across Europe to a new and promising field of law: Energy law. In the context of energy disputes involving private or state owned companies as suppliers and countries as clients, arbitration and litigation between the two has received more and more interest and concern.  Because of the economic stakes involved as well as the interest countries have for a secure flow of energy supplies of all kinds, the academic agenda will address the legal issues of such contracts as well as the possibilities to settle disputes and ways to assure a viable arena for competition. Besides that, the city of Bucharest and the social program will definitely meet your expectations!
